My Story

I believe everything happens exactly as it should.

Every step we take, no matter how messy, hard, or unexpected, leads us to where we’re meant to be.

My story begins with a ream of yellow paper my dad brought home from the pub when I was a little girl.   He’d often pick up odd things from locals, but that paper became my blank canvas.  Before he passed away when I was 8, I’d spend hours creating; books, magazines, even shoes and bags out of paper.  Creativity became my escape, my safe place, and my way to imagine a life beyond the one I knew.

Growing up in poverty, losing my dad so young, and becoming a young carer for my mum and siblings shaped me in ways I didn’t understand at the time.  I didn’t know it then, but I was building resilience, grit, and the seeds of what I now call unstoppable self-belief; even if it took years before I could name it.

By my teens, I was sewing bags and scrunchies for my friends.   In my twenties, I graduated from Brunel University, worked on the frontline with homeless families, and moved into management roles supporting adults with disabilities.   I was driven by one thing: helping people rewrite their stories, no matter what they’d been through.  I also launched my first business Violet & May, where I took a very scared step into self-employment, before going back into management.

When redundancy hit, I pivoted into teaching.   I wanted to help young people believe in themselves sooner than I had learned to.   I quickly became a workaholic and taking into account my previous career, was promoted to assistant headteacher within five years.

But the creative spark never left me, it had just lay dormant as I chased after what I felt I should do to keep me safe.   After having my son Jackson, I launched Vivid Wire, my product-based business making bold, colourful wire art.

A dad hugs his two daughters while they all laugh.

Leaving my career in education in 2020 to run Vivid Wire full-time was thrilling… and terrifying.  The doubts were loud.

The guilt of leaving a secure career was heavy.   I felt lost, overwhelmed, and exhausted.   But the thing about unstoppable self-belief is; it isn’t about never doubting yourself.  It’s about holding your nerve and backing yourself anyway.

Through the darkest moments, I began piecing together everything I’d learned from leadership, coaching, and my Master’s degree in trauma-informed education.   I discovered my Warrior Energy; daily habits that fuel my mind and body.   I built a formula for vision, strategy, and planning.   I developed a money-making mindset, and I learned how to be consistent and focused, even when I didn’t feel like it.

That became my Warrior Boss Method, and at first, I was the only one using it.  But I knew there were other business owners like me; warrior-spirited people with big dreams who’d survived challenges and wanted more.

So, I started coaching them.

Everything I do now, whether through 1:1 coaching, programmes or courses is about helping you transform from worrier to Warrior.

I’ll give you tools, strategies, and the mindset shifts to build unstoppable self-belief, take bold action, and design the business and life you dream of.

Because if I can do it, you can too.

You are magic.
You are made for this.
And it’s time the world saw it.
