I didn't know what coaching was...

When I started this business, officially my fifth business, I still didn't know what coaching was.​ I had a quotes that I lent on when I was struggling, or I would say to myself a line from a song in Cinderella "no matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, a dream that you wish will come true".

I may have shared with my friends or family how I was feeling, but they didn't really get it. It was incredibly lonely to be in that place.​​Lonely because I was choosing to be there.

Choosing the pain of chasing a dream and showing up and making money, and the struggle of actually doing it.

I want to share with you, that today I am feeling the struggle. It is not paralysing or making me feel like crying,

but I am up-levelling so quickly in what I am doing at the moment, that the next level of visibility is going to be big. And my doubt is trying to keep me small.​ I have invested in myself and my business heavily in the last 12 months; moving into my office, hiring two coaches, training programmes, and more time than ever to rest.

I have let go of a lot of things; revenue streams, projects, work that didn't feel right, groups that I had grown out of...

That's a lot of shifting.

On top of that, really leaning into what I am good at, doubling down and going all in on creating a space for that magic to happen (BANK is that space).

It's a fucking lot.

But when I'm feeling shifty and my doubt starts to get loud, I remind myself of what it has taken for me to get here.

What WE are trying to achieve takes a lot of courage.

Especially when people around us aren't doing what we are trying to do.

They don't have the perspective of an entrepreneur who is trying to make dreams come true. They don't want to get in front of a camera and make content. They want to make money by being told what to do and to watch the content. No shade to them at all obv.​But what we know we have to do because it is WHO WE ARE, still takes courage.

It takes someone to say "I see you being a brave badass. I can't advise you on your next steps but I'm watching you and see you and I'm proud of the courage you're giving it"

But that can be rare.

When I decided to coach other business owners, this is exactly the reason that I started. I didn't have anyone who knew what it was like, until I paid for it.

I knew that the way my thoughts and mind worked around business was different. I knew that what I had survived had changed how I saw the world and made me even more determined to make magic.

Don't forget, I'm just a normal woman from Kent. I grew up around very little money. ​ And I still decided I get to want a ridiculous, magical and massive life.AND I get to create it for myself.

By coaching other businesswomen, I teach them not do things differently, but to THINK differently.

That's what changes your business and how much money you make.

Thinking differently.

My new client on my new programme 'I Want More' shared a thought with me today about feeling like a knob about her wins (she has SMASHED her recent money goal #justsaying) because of how some of her friends talk about money.

You need to know this:​​ You are not responsible for minimising the discomfort that someone else feels because of your dreams and wins, because they are too afraid to do what you are doing.

The world becomes a better place when we own our power, protect our energy and make money changing lives and bringing joy to people.

It's that simple.

BUT as I said, I have invested heavily in myself with time, money, courses, and coaching.

I get to be at a place where I move through shifty, doubt filled moments with ease.

I get that the summer holidays are coming and you might be thinking "I might as well wait until September" BUT...

September is still two months away. ​ You will still be thinking about your business over those two months. You will be wondering 'what can I do?' to still make money and be present with your kids.

How about, we get started now, like NEXT WEEK and you are ahead of the game?​​ How much more capacity will you have to be present with your kids if you are shifting what's in your way of making more money NOW?

I didn't know where this email was going to go when I sat down to write it. ​I knew that I wanted to share that I have two spaces on my programme and I want two new clients on that programme ASAP.

I wanted to share that I am in a shifty moment around my visibility and that I'm scared about how visible I am about to become AND I choose to run towards what I am scared of.

Doubt doesn't disappear as you become more successful.

It changes its tone. It shows up in a sneaky ways.

And I'm here for it because it's a sign that I am about to blow up. My mission is too big. It is too big for me to stay as 'just a normal woman from Kent who grew up with no money'.
