Feeling Overwhelmed? Try These 4 Simple Daily Habits to Do More in Less Time

Updated: May 7

Have you ever had one of those days where your to-do list is endless, your mind is scattered, and by the end of the day you think, I’ve not stopped, but I’ve achieved nothing?

Yep, I’ve been there too. As a mum, business owner, partner, and fur baby mum to both a cat and a dog, I get how full-on life can feel. And when your nervous system is dysregulated from stress and overload, productivity becomes impossible.

So, I’m sharing the four daily habits that have been total game-changers for me and the women I support. These aren’t about doing more for the sake of it, they’re about creating space for you to feel calm, confident, and in control again.

Habit #1 - Create Your Warrior Energy

Your nervous system needs looking after because when you don’t have the capacity to handle the day ahead, everything else starts to wobble.

That’s where your Warrior Energy comes in. It’s that powerful feeling of being grounded in who you are; confident, focused, and ready for whatever’s next. And the best bit? You get to create it, on purpose, with your Warrior Energy Toolkit.

Every time you pour into the habits and hobbies that reconnect you with you, you expand your capacity to deal with the messy, real-life stuff; those chaotic mornings, the unexpected interruptions, the moments that would usually knock you sideways.

When you commit to creating your Warrior Energy, you’re giving yourself more space to breathe, more resilience to rise, and more fuel in the tank for your biggest dreams.

Habit #2 - Stop Multitasking

Multitasking might feel productive, but it’s actually sneaky self-sabotage. Every time you bounce from one thing to another without finishing, your brain is left juggling open loops, and it hates that.

It craves the satisfaction of ticking something off, closing the loop, and getting that sweet dopamine hit.

Want to feel more confident and energised? Keep it simple. Stick with one thing, see it through, then move on. So next time you flick the kettle on, don’t wander off to start something else; breathe, stay with it, and close the loop. You’ll be amazed how much power that gives you back.

"You don’t have to stay feeling overwhelmed; just one small shift can change everything."

Habit #3 - Use The KickStart Formula

This is my non-negotiable, everyday go-to. The KickStart Formula is a simple three-step habit that gets me focused and fired up, even on the days I feel totally stuck.

Step one: brain dump everything that’s swirling around in your head.

Step two: highlight what actually needs doing today.

Step three: put those things in order. Done.

I’ve even made a free printable and a short audio to walk you through it, because I want this to be ridiculously easy for you to start using straight away.

It clears the mental clutter, overcomes procrastination, and best of all? It gives you that “I’ve got this” feeling before the day’s even properly begun.

Habit #4 - Block Your Time

This one’s all about protecting your energy and ditching the constant context switching. Because every time you jump from one role or task to another, you’re leaking energy, and fast.

Your brain needs time to settle into flow (around 20 minutes, in fact), so the more you can block out focused time and wear one hat at a time, the better.

Batch your tasks, whether you’re creating content, managing clients, or sorting your finances. When you group similar jobs together, you’ll stay in flow, get way more done, and skip that frazzled, drained feeling at the end of the day.

These four habits are the foundation of how I run my life and business, without feeling overwhelmed.

These habits help me feel calmer, more in control, and ready to handle whatever the day throws at me. And the best part? They’re simple enough to start using straight away.

So if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, scattered, or stuck lately, you don’t have to stay in that place. A few small shifts can change everything. You just need to take that first step.

You’ve absolutely got this, love. Let’s make those dreams happen.
